Training the Future - How do we imagine our future?
17th International Architecture Exhibition Venice
Training for the Future goes into the next round! After the trainings spread around the world and after the opening of the Biennale, the first event of Training for the Future will now take place in the digital pavilion as part of Performing Architecture at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition Venice.
Artists, activists, authors from different countries around the world come together to explore the future as a "place" to imagine and shape jointly through art. Prophecies of science and technology are no longer enough, we need art and creativity for a democratic, ecological, inclusive future.
The pandemic has confronted us with our present and even more with our future, reflections and comparisons are urgent: how will we live together?
How will we live together? This is the motto of the International Architecture Exhibition 2021 in Venice and it is not by chance that the title of the German Pavilion, in which this debate will take place, is 2038 (a retrospective of the future that tells the present from the year 2038).
