This event is part of a series of events under the umbrella title WANDERLUST KÜCHE and aims to introduce Filipinos to German cuisine and foster cultural exchange through the medium of food.

Werteköche teams up with renowned chef
Kalel Chan of
M Café in a one-of-a-kind dinner meant to highlight German-Filipino collaboration.
“The Magic Hour” – as it is coined – is an elaborate five-course dinner prepared by the two chefs. It features elements of both Filipino and German cuisines and is the result of months’ long preparation and planning. The chefs will be present on the event where they will speak to the guests about their collaborative process and their experiences with each other’s cuisines.

The Magic Hour is part of a region-wide project organized by the Goethe-Institut in partnership with the Werteköche group. Aside from Steffen Burkhardt, other German chefs will be doing similar events in Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Wellington and Sydney.

Terraz Meetings & Bistro in Makati. Admission to the event is completely free but by invitation only.
