Residence Programs

With its residence programs, the Goethe-Institut would like to offer a "space for new perspectives" and every year invites artists and creators of culture to live and work for a while in a different country and culture.

The Visual Arts Projects Fund

The Goethe-Institut is providing funding for the development of exhibitions and discursive formats with transnational cooperative working structures from the fields of visual arts, architecture, design and art education/cultural mediation as well as interdisciplinary projects.
 

International Relief Fund 2021

Need financial support for your organization's projects? The International Hilfsfond 2021 has started its open call to support cultural and educational organisations abroad during the coronavirus pandemic. 

Applications are only possible via the Goethe-Institut, the German Embassy or the consortium partners. For prerequisites, requirements, eligibility, and further details please e-mail program-manila@goethe.de.
 

Schum Artist in Residence

ShUM-Cities Association is offering up to three project fellowships for the realization of an artistic project that addresses the history of the ShUM communities and their religious, cultural and architectural legacy. The call for applications is open to professional artists from around the world working in the following areas: Visual and Media Art, Architecture and Design, Music, and Literature.
