Sebastian Schmidt a.k.a STILL SAME RZM, is a German graffiti/mural artist who was recently in Karachi for a 4-week artist residency by invitation Collective, supported by Goethe-Institut and VASL



As part of the residency, Schmidt painted a mural near Karachi Airport, which portrayed monuments that represent Karachi.

Sebastian Schmidt was a Vasl Resident Artist for the month of May 2016. Sebastian Schmidt, alias Still Same RZM, is an artist coming from Wiesbaden, Germany. He has been active in the European graffiti scene since 1999 and has become one of the main ambassadors for the “Meeting of Styles” graffiti festival series. Sebastian was introduced to local truck artists by Vasl and collaborated with them for a wall painting at the Karachi Jinnah International Airport which incorporated landmarks of the city, creating a beautiful welcoming mural for all citizens exiting the airport and entering the city. The Goethe-Institut, Karachi and the German Consulate General supported Sebastian’s work and his stay.
