Goethe-Institut Pakistan screened films produced in Film Talents program

Since 2017, Goethe-Institut Pakistan’s program ‘Film Talents – Voices from Pakistan and Afghanistan’ has served as a launchpad for emerging filmmakers.
Some of the top films, produced as part of Film Talents, were screened at Beach Luxury, Karachi on Friday, December 10, 2021.
With 19 filmmakers in the first cohort and 17 in the second, total 36 filmmakers from the two countries have produced 70 films under the framework of Film Talents. A number of them have also been screened at international film festivals including Sundance, CPH:DOX, Locarno Film Festival, South Asian International Film Festival, Jaipur Int’l Film Festival and more. A few have also been nominated and won awards at prestigious festivals worldwide.
