For me, the difference between travel photography and travel drawing is...
"... A photograph is quick to take, a drawing needs time. And that’s a good thing. Then everything contributes and this is reflected in the drawing. Of course one can also spend a lot of time on a photograph, but few do that. And so the photograph remains mono while the drawing is in stereo!"

When I draw...
"... reality becomes tangible."

Inspirations on my ‘travels’ have been, above all...
"... well ... being away, more than anything else. Foreign places. All different from everyday life, and then a bird that I’ve never seen… voilà."

I would like to travel...
"... cycle over the Alps."

My reading for my next trip will include...
"... Carnet de Voyage by Craig Thompson."
