RASA x Goethe-Institut Singapur 001: KONGSI AKKULTURASA

The first in a series of showcases by RASA x Goethe-Institut Singapur. 

A living sonic assembly—not a performance, not a ritual, but a cultural collaboration between Singapore-based sound artist Mervin Wong and Berlin-based artist Ariel Orah.

This Soy & Synth special edition blends sound, memory, and speculative futures through a hybrid format:

• sonic improvisation
• mini zine exhibition
• lecture-performance
• culinary intervention

Developed by Ariel William Orah (sōydivision, Berlin) and Mervin Wong (Singapore), KONGSI AKKULTURASA reimagines forgotten collectivisms and diasporic alliances—where sound becomes a method of gathering, and myth becomes a way of remembering.

This night also marks a reunion of long-time friendship and collaboration between Soy Division Berlin and Midnight Shift —reviving a coalition of shared sonic visions across Berlin and Singapore.
