Pre-Registration The film Closely Watched Trains was made by Jiří Menzel based on the novel of the same name by famous Czech novel writer Bohumil Hrabal. The story takes place during the Second World War, at a time when human qualities are manifested in the same way as in a time of deep peace, only they are better seen in the confrontation with the events of the war.
