Even after thirty years, the I-narrator and writer in Navid Kermani's novel "Sozusagen Paris" still yearns for his first love Jutta. He writes a whole book about their relationship and gives readings. Until Jutta stops by after an event. She is now married and invites him to a meeting. They drink wine and talk about love. A book about the challenge of perceiving a loved one with the eyes as well as with the memories.
