If so, then you’ve come to the right place! We run German exams for all levels of ability, ranging from A1 to C2.

No More Cash Payments Starting October 15, 2025

Please be informed that starting from October 15, 2025, the Goethe-Institut Ho Chi Minh City will no longer accept cash payments. 
We kindly ask that you use one of the following payment methods: 
    - Bank transfer
    - Credit card (Visa, MasterCard) 
 

From September 1, 2024, registration for exams at the Goethe-Institut Ho Chi Minh City is done directly on the website.

Information on when new exam dates will be open for booking can be found in our webshop by choosing the level A1-C2 that suits you. Bookings will open at midnight (00:00) on the specified date.

The fee for the exam has to be transferred to the account of the Goethe – Institute Ho-Chi-Minh-City:
All bank fees charged for the transfer are to be paid by the customer.

Important notes on exam registration at the Goethe-Institut Ho Chi Minh City

Recently, we received reports of cases where fraudsters impersonate staff of the Goethe-Institut to deceive and financially harm exam candidates. To ensure your safety when booking exams, please pay attention to the following advice:
 

Exam and exam rules

The Goethe-Institut will not provide results and related documents early on upon individual request.

Please note: We will provide drinking water, but no paper cups (for environmental reasons). Please bring a bottle with you!
