On 18 October, Goethe-Institut South Africa celebrated its 30th anniversary with a vibrant day of activities, bringing together partners, friends, families, and members of the public. The festivities included a fun-filled afternoon programme for children and adults, followed by a reception, the opening of a special anniversary exhibition, and a live music concert.

The celebration marked three decades of culture, language, and exchange between South Africa, Germany, and beyond. Visitors revisited key moments and cultural projects from the institute's history, connected with longstanding collaborators, and joined in commemorating this important milestone over cake and conversation.
