"Bronx Zoo" by Banksy

The great Banksy was also interested in the subject of cats, which he implemented in October 2013 as part of his month-long residency in New York City near the stadium of the New York Yankees. His work Bronx Zoo shows a cheetah resting on a yellow pole and yawning heartily, its body patterned with tags and symbols - including the logo of the "Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament". The name of the artwork is presumably a reference to the New York Yankees, who were nicknamed the "Bronx Zoo Yankees" by the New York media in the 1970s due to internal chaos. Fortunately, that was only temporary.
