Description
The project "Career Start for German Teachers" focuses on young German teachers who, as university graduates or career changers, have only recently started teaching German at a school. They face particular challenges, especially in their first two years: Large classes with fidgety or tired students, the use of complex media technology, demanding discussions with parents, and frequent substitutions of colleagues due to teacher shortages are phenomena for which the young professionals are only inadequately prepared in teacher training at the university.
