Description

Which memories of the 20th century divide, which unite society? What are the visions for a common future for Latvia? Teenagers and other interested people left their memory fragments, confrontations with history, thoughts, artistic reflections and visions in a memory dropbox. The more than 90 memories, some of them very personal, became the basis of the unusual play "Tanya's Birthday" performed at the Ģertrūdes ielas theatre. Public debates accompanied the project and opened a space for discussion and joint reflection.
