Based on a project by VIVITA/LAHENDUSTE LABORATOORIUM and in collaboration with Laura Steinbach, the Goethe-Institut Tallinn has developed the project "Mit Deutsch erfinden," which offers innovative teaching materials for prototyping in German lessons. The production company Nafta Films OÜ also granted us an educational license for the Estonian film "Tähtsad Ninad," which features German subtitles. You can obtain an access link for the film through the Goethe-Institut Tallinn to utilize these materials.

Description

The Goethe-Institut Tallinn has developed the project 'Mit Deutsch erfinden' to empower students at levels A1+ and B1 to create prototypes. This project includes detailed worksheets and a didactic tool for teachers, fostering creative problem-solving strategies and promoting student-centred learning. It aims to equip students with the confidence and capabilities they need for the future and aligns with the state curriculum in Estonia.

Flexibility of teaching options

The German-language materials offer flexible usage for a project day, week, or more extended series of lessons, with three teaching options available:

- Lessons without making a prototype
- Lessons in making a prototype
- Working with individual materials, detached from the project
