Chapter Generating energy, using wind, water and sun

This didactic package for German teachers is particularly suitable for use in language and subject lessons at Polish high schools. The wide selection of ecological topics with a focus on renewable energy allows for use in different age and grade levels. The package enables work at A1, A2 and B1 levels. A prerequisite for the successful use of the material in the classroom is the cooperation of language and subject teachers. The material offers them a common platform; working on it together enriches both language teaching and science and technology teaching. The modular structure of the material allows for flexible use both in school lessons and outside of school, for example in educational projects.

To keep teachers as flexible as possible, the material package consists of several parts: - the didactic material for use in the classroom (the material consists of five chapters: an introduction to the topic of renewable energies and sections on solar energy, wind power, hydropower and biomass); - a teacher's guide with notes and solutions; - lesson outlines (examples for team teaching); - a vocabulary list on the topic of energy.
