Chapter LINGO Global issue 5: Green energy

Energy supply and consumption have dominated the headlines for weeks. The Lingo Global magazine introduces German learners to renewable or green energies in this issue - for more sustainability in and outside the classroom. Facts, graphics and practical tips on the following questions can be found in the issue: Why are renewable energies so important for nature, humans and animals? How exactly are solar and wind energy, hydropower, biomass and geothermal energy converted into electricity and thermal energy? Which pioneering projects for more climate protection have people implemented worldwide?
