11th Edition
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina–Planetarium Science Center hosted the Science Film Festival on 16 and 18, welcoming around 300 primary and preparatory students over two active and engaging days. The first day focused on the subtheme “Wildlife” for primary learners, with activities exploring animal species, their adaptations, and the impact of human behaviour such as pollution and deforestation on fragile ecosystems.

The second day shifted to “Nature and Technology” for preparatory students, bringing science beyond the screen through hands-on learning, including how AI can support environmental protection, a solar-powered car demonstration, and discussions on the hidden risks of microplastics. A key highlight of the programme was the black theatre performance "A Trial in the Deep", where marine creatures put humans and plastic on trial for ocean pollution, offering a memorable and thought-provoking moment that reinforced the festival’s environmental message.
