The Science Film Festival took place on December 15-16 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Planetarium Science Center in Alexandria, in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Education. Approximately 230 students from primary and preparatory schools attended.

The festival featured film screenings, hands-on workshops, science shows, and an educational exhibition. Activities included a science show on the human nervous system, a board game about carbon footprints, a workshop on mangrove trees’ environmental significance, and an exhibition on plastic and paper recycling.

Audience favorites included films like “LUKi and the Lights”, “On the 8th Day”, “Ananas Anam: Wearable Waste”, and “Blue Carbon: Unleashing Nature's Superpower”. The event successfully engaged students with interactive activities and inspiring science-themed content.
