German Currents San Diego

The premiere of the German Currents San Diego / Festival of New Films from Germany will take place on October 22 to 23, 2011 in the Joan & Irwin Jacobs Theatre at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park.

German Currents San Diego will kick off Saturday, October 22nd 2011 with an opening film and reception at the 226-seat Joan & Irwin Jacobs Theatre in the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego’s historic Balboa Park.
With fifteen museums and beautifully landscaped gardens, Balboa Park provides a glamorous venue for this cosmopolitan event.
Two additional award-winning productions and a matinee film for the entire family will be shown on Sunday, October 23rd.
All movies will be presented in German, with English subtitles.

Guests have the exciting opportunity to mix with actors and luminaries immediately after the screenings.
