An incursion is a great opportunity to introduce your pupils to Germany and the German language in a lively and interactive way. Our workshops combine cultural content with language practice and ensure an unforgettable learning experience.
In order for the programme to be implemented effectively, an incursion must last at least four hours. This time is necessary to carry out all activities and offer participants an intensive experience. This time frame allows at least two groups to participate on the same day.
If you would like to schedule more than two groups, up to three sessions per day are possible. Simply indicate your preference in the registration form under ‘Date and time period’.

Target Group: PRIMARY Schools

Choose between two exciting experiments: the periscope (movement) and the rocket (balance). These hands-on activities not only ignite a passion for learning but also sharpen the senses, offering endless opportunities for discovery and growth. In this exhilarating workshop, students dive into the immersive world of virtual reality using Oculus Quest VR headsets. They will discover Germany in a completely new way through the Wander app, learning how to navigate its features and explore its functions. As they journey along chosen routes, students will uncover fascinating places of interest, enriching their understanding of German culture and nature.
This workshop not only enhances digital skills but also ignites a passion for adventure and learning. Perfect for anyone eager to blend exploration with education, this experience promises to be both enlightening and unforgettable!

This inspiring workshop offers an in-depth introduction to the exhibition "UNIVERSUM. MENSCH. INTELLIGENZ" organized by the Goethe-Institut in collaboration with the Max Planck Society. Dedicated to exploring the fundamental questions of humanity, this exhibition showcases cutting-edge research from Germany.
Participants will be guided through the exhibition's five captivating themes: Universe, Human History, Brain, Anthropocene, and Artificial Intelligence.
