In-person Professional Learning in Germany

The Goethe-Institut awards scholarships for participation in language courses and professional development seminars (e.g. cultural studies, teaching methods) in Germany. You can apply for a scholarship from the Goethe-Institut if you are a current or future teacher of German or a person in key position in the education sector.

COVID-19 notice:
If in-person professional learning cannot take place in Germany, we will offer an online alternative. Should you receive a scholarship, we will inform you of the decision to switch to a digital format in due course.

We thank you for your understanding, should a switch to completely online professional learning seminars or language course be necessary in light of the current situation.
