Returning to screens Australia wide, Transitions Film Festival’s 2022 line-up features ground-breaking documentaries about global social and technological innovations, revolutionary ideas and trailblazing change makers that are leading the way to a better future. 

Transitions Film Festival is the only festival in Australia, and one of the leading festivals internationally, that explicitly focuses on the grand challenges of our time, and the solutions to those challenges. In 2022, the program will focus on the search for solutions to our greatest collective global challenges, as well as the megatrends likely to shape our future. 

The Goethe-Institut is proud to partner with Transitions Film Festival to present an incredible collection of five unique and engaging documentaries from Germany – and beyond!

Joint us virtually for the 2022 festival. The entire program is geo-blocked to ALL OF AUSTRALIA, which means you can watch the films, no matter which state you live in! Once a film is unlocked - after you press play - you will have 72 hours to watch the film.

All films will be available to watch on-demand for the duration of the festival (February 18 – March 13).
