The third edition of the documentary cinema workshop "Patrimoine et héritage colonial" under the artistic direction of Jean-Marie Teno will take place from 7 september to 3 december 2021 in Yaoundé, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Kamerun and the Institut Français Cameroon. It will also be funded by the Franco-German Cultural Fund.
This year’s theme is "Colonial heritage as seen from here – Cameroonian youth and its link to the past". The goal of this workshop is twofold: giving young Cameroonians an introduction to documentary cinema and making documentary films about colonial heritage and history. During the residency 5 of the most promising projects will be produced.
