Do I need any prior language knowledge to take part in the German for Architects Online course?

The German for Architects Online course is offered from level C1 onwards. If you have not yet reached level B2, we recommend that you first complete a general language online course up to level B2. What are the technical requirements?

What happens if I miss a class?

You must attend at least 70% of the online live classes, i.e. at least 50 teaching units or 17 course days, in order to receive a certificate of attendance. If you are unable to attend classes, we require written notification.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

Yes, after completing the German for Architects Online course, you will receive a certificate of attendance if you have attended at least 70% of the required course days.

Can I take an exam at the end of the course?

You can take monthly exams for levels A1 to C2 at all Goethe-Institut locations in Germany as internationally recognised proof of your language skills. As a course participant, you will receive a 20% discount on the exam fee.
