"አጋጣሚው"

Ethiopian known translator and short story writer Awgechew Terefe translated  Hector Hugh Munro’s (1870-1916),  better known by his pen name Saki,  two works in his anthology of a short story collection “የአንገት ጌጡ እና ሌሎቸም አጫጭር ልቦለዶች - The necklace and other short stories” into Amharic.
One of them is “አጋጣሚው“. One unhappy man makes his journey to a small village. He meets there an old man. This old man adored him and also tells him about family affairs and money kept for him, that the unhappy man couldn’t understand. He also tried to make him escape. The old man did all this, because this unhappy man look-alike a criminal wanted, that the old man knew about.
