Why should I attend this colloquium?
Language is central to all learning. Teachers therefore need to be equipped to recognise and respond to the diverse language needs of their pupils. This is true in every classroom, and even more so when learners are studying through a foreign or additional language, such as in CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) contexts.
Helping children develop multiple languages calls for practical strategies, relevant resources and a clear understanding of how language supports learning across the curriculum.
The 6th Online Colloquium on Early Plurilingualism will bring these themes to life, with all sessions delivered in German, English and French. Researchers and practitioners will share evidence-informed approaches, practical techniques and classroom-ready examples that can be applied across early childhood and school settings.
Join us on 10 June 2026 to discover new ideas, learn from international expertise and gain practical inspiration to support children’s language development, thanks to the partnership between the Goethe-Institut France and the British Council.
