A Night on Accra featuring Nii Ayikwei Parkes and others.

Since independence, Accra has contributed writers and has been the focus of and location for many of Ghana's greatest written stories.
Nii Ayikwei Parkes, Ghanaian novelist and author of the acclaimed novel, "Tail of The Blue Bird", reads from his new work and stories that have a strong connection with urban Accra.
Parkes will be reading alongside Kwesi Woode, Kwaku Baah-Achamfour, Seyram Asmah, Akorfa Dawson and Mercy Addai, who contributed to “Adabraka”, a new anthology of short stories, which was edited by Nana S. Achampong and published by the Ama Ata Aidoo Centre for Creative Writing at the African University College of Communications in Accra. Extra readings will be made from the works of Ayi Kwei Armah and Kojo Laing.
