Naa Gbewa a prince and cavalry man, came and established his empire in the area of modern day Ghana, Burkina Faso and Togo. He was the first person to introduce Chieftaincy as a system of government in this region. This documentary is about Naa Gbewa, the root of the empire, how it grew and fell apart. By educating the people about their common history the documentary is meant to promote peace and unity within the different tribes that belonged together. Knowing their roots especially the youth shall be motivated to start initiatives to develop themselves and their communities for a better future.
