Virtual Reality (VR) is a powerful new medium of storytelling that enables the viewer to become immersed in another reality. Mobile VR based on smartphone technology has made these experiences accessible to creators and audiences around the world. The goal of this workshop is to introduce young artists and filmmakers to the medium of virtual reality and 360-degree film production.
The workshop will cover the fundamentals of storytelling for virtual reality, including script writing, cinematography, interactive experience design, and post-production. The workshop will also explore the cultural and technical challenges of developing VR content in Ghana, and will provide participants with the knowledge required to create their own VR productions.
