Library Use

The library is open to the public and reference use of the Library and Information Centre is free of charge. For borrowing you need a library membership card. Language course students of the Goethe-Institut receive a complimentary free membership for the duration of 1 year upon presentation of their booking confirmation.

To obtain a valid card please fill in an application form at our library or fill in the digital application form below. Non-language course students have to present your ID-Card (HKID or passport) as well as one proof of current address (official letter, bill etc) upon application.

Fees for library cards:
Adults	HK$ 150 per year
Students and pupils	HK$ 100 per year
Goethe students	Free
German teachers	HK$ 60 per year

  * We only accept cash payment.

Loan periods:

Max. 10 items
Books, Films, CDs, and Boardgames : 2 weeks
Magazines: 1 week

Renewals:

Renewal 3 times if no demand
