Who can order?

All cultural and educational institutions (such as colleges, universities, high schools, and non-profit making organisations) in East Asia - for noncommercial screenings only. The Goethe-Institut Hongkong cannot rent films to individuals.

How to order

All institutions intending to rent films must first register by using the form on this website.
After registration you can order our films online by using your client number.

Please send your request at least one month prior to show date. After receipt of your order, we will let you know within five business days if the title you requested is available.

 

Shipping

The shipping expenses have to be borne by the orderer.
Film prints must be returned to the following address the next business day after screening at your expense:

Damaged prints or loss

Any damage to our film prints or loss must be reported to us immediately. Customers are liable for damaged or lost film prints. To prevent damage to the film prints during transportation, the films have to be safely mounted on reels and secured with the appropriate tape. Broken film must only be fixed with professional splicing tape. The Goethe-Institut Hongkong reserves the right to refuse future rentals in case of recurring damage to film prints.
