Tom, 10, is different from other kids: he avoids change, dislikes red, and finds loud noises overwhelming. His great passion is space exploration, often in his astronaut suit. When his mother travels to China for work, Tom and his siblings spend six weeks with their grandparents in Lunau. To help him cope, his mother frames the stay as a trial Mars mission, complete with a logbook. Seen through Tom’s eyes, this tender comedy becomes a voyage of discovery in which his uniqueness turns into strength and a bridge between generations.
