Goethe-Fest 2016

The Goethe-Institut Hongkong is inviting all its students and other fellow German learners in Hong Kong to our wonderful German Festival! Enjoy German music by joining the live concert performed by two rappers - Juse Ju and Fatoni, discover Germany and German books, and learn German in the most fun ways you can ever imagine!  Let yourself be inspired by Goethe! 

In our Goethe-library on the 14/F, you can take part in an adventure through a fun digital scavenger hunt, where you get to try out German games on iPads, explore the large variety of German books and gain information about Germany. Whether you are new to learning German or a current German learner who wants to test your German skills, you are welcome to join a taster course or take part in a placement test with our teachers.

As for our little friends in the Fest, a selection of German animations and a Reading Corner will be dedicated for children. Learn your first German words with rabbit Hans in our game session “Deutsch mit Hans Hase”, specially designed for kids aged 5-7.

Young German learners can participate in the Quest on poster displays „Lautstark - young Music from Germany“, where they will learn more about German pop and rap music through a series of posters with quizzes. Film lovers are in for a treat too – we will be showing the successful German feature film “Goethe!” from the year 2010 by Philipp Stölzl in our Black Box Studio.
 
By participating in the Quiz “Mein Goethe”, you can win a German language course in either Goethe-Institut Hongkong or one of the Goethe-Instituts in Germany, and many other attractive prizes!

Of course, there will also be German food and drinks to satisfy your taste buds.
