The stage lights, the applause – Astrid loves being a cabaret performer, and loves her tolerant and supportive husband Markus. Every decision is taken together, and this one is no different: what will they do with the child that Astrid is carrying, now, six months into the pregnancy, that she learns it will be severely disabled? A strong nature with a witty answer to everything, Astrid now feels lost. Ultimately only she who is bearing the child can take this weighty decision. Who decides whether the child will have a life worth living?
