German competition for university students
The Goethe-Institut invites all students studying German at universities or other higher education institutions in Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Mongolia and South Korea to participate in the competition “Hallo Deutschland 2018”. This competition inspires students to use their creativity in designing a lesson plan for primary and secondary schools students in their home countries while arousing their interests for the German language and culture.
This year’s theme is “Sport in Germany”. Students with knowledge of German (B1 or above) from Hong Kong or Macau, who are interested in teaching German, are now invitied to use their creativity in designing a innovative lesson plan for a 20-minute German taster course, during which children between the age of 9 and 14 can learn German under the topic "Sports" and sportarts in Germany.
