A new European initiative that brings European music and local bands together under the framework of Le French May is coming to town!
Goethe-Institut Hongkong, together with the Alliance Française de Hong Kong and the European Union Office in Hong Kong, co-present a two-day music festival titled “MAKE MUSIC, HONG KONG!”. Alongside well-known, popular acts from the local music scene, the line-up includes several bands joining in from Europe – among them the German electro-pop band Pollyester : On June 23 and 24, 2018 (Sat and Sun), bass guitarist and performance artist Polina Lapkovskaja and drummer Christian Brachtel will rock the stages of Tai Kwun, the newly-opened art hub in Central! Pollyester was founded in Munich, Germany, in 2007. Their recent album City of O. (2015) has been described as “a mix of Krautrock, Electro-pop, Dancefloor and Dada”.
