The Goethe-Institut is proud to be partner of an outstanding music project, supporting the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble's first collaboration with one of the world's leading living composers, Unsuk Chin. The Berlin-based composer’s residence in Hong Kong heralds the beginning of the Ensemble's 11th season and its first performance at the Shanghai New Music Week. The group will work with two of Hong Kong's finest home-grown talents, pianist Colleen Lee and percussionist Sabrina Ma, in two events in Hong Kong and two high-profile concerts in Shanghai.

These programmes are presented in partnership with the Goethe Institut Hong Kong, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
