Uli Gaulke is guest of the filmmaker-in-residence-program 2018, a joint initiative of Goethe-Institut Hongkong and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. During his three-month stay in Hong Kong, Uli Gaulke will not only research and work on a new film project, but also share his long experience as a documentary film maker in a masterclass with students of Hong Kong University. The topic is story development for a short documentary, and the structure of the workshop – three days spread over four weeks – allows the students to develop their own projects with Uli Gaulke’s expertise.
Workshop dates: 6 and 27 October, 1 November, 9.30 am – 4.30 pm. For more information, please see
