Bauhaus – A Book Exhibitionat Hong Kong Design Institute

What is “The Bauhaus”? Why was it so important that its 100 years anniversary creates so much excitement all around the world? Why would a school that existed for less than 14 years carry such enormous charm and influence even to our society today?

Collaborated with the Frankfurt Book Fair, Goethe-Institut Hongkong is pleased to present a collection of newly published books about this significant school of art, design and architecture in the 20th century. The selected books cover different aspects of the Bauhaus, including its historical background, its development, its major protagonists, as well as its impact in Germany and aboard.
