Hauskonzert: Silke Aichorn

Silke Aichhorn is one of the most active European harp soloists, prizewinner of international competitions and several cultural awards. She has her own CD label with currently 24 recordings. Silke Aichhorn has been nominated by the Federal Government as "cultural and creative pilot", she is ambassador of the ambulant hospice service of Caritas Traunstein and managing director of the Regional competition "Jugend musiziert” (Youth makes music) southeast Bavaria.

Besides her solo and chamber music concerts worldwide she gives concerts for children and appears with her musical cabaret reading "Lebenlänglich Frohlocken". The accompanying book is currently in its 5th edition.

Silke Aichhorn gives master classes and is a regular juror in harp competitions.
