Humane Methods is the latest production by Fronte Vacuo, an artists group formed by Marco Donnarumma, Margherita Pevere and Andrea Familari creating transdisciplinary productions, where performing arts, media art, music and bioart blend into one another.

Humane Methods is a rhizome, a collection of performances that branch out from one node: the violence of algorithmic societies, where power structures, knowledge creation and normative criteria become means of remorseless manipulation. The first performance, Humane Methods [ΔNFANG], premiered in 2019. The second performance, Humane Methods [ΣXHALE], will premiere in January 2021.

In this open rehearsal, Fronte Vacuo in collaboration with 4RUDE will perform excerpts from their ongoing research into AI-driven dramaturgy, ritual choreography and ambisonic sound experimentation. The rehearsal will be followed by a Q&A where Fronte Vacuo will answer questions and gather inspiration, criticism and visions from the audience feedback.

In collaboration with CCDC. The Q&A is moderated by Raymond Wong.

The live streaming and talk will be on ZOOM. Please register by 24 June to receive your personalized ZOOM invitation on the day of the event: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdvIT_bXtELNqlbxoHIFOuF7B9UAif_o26DaMxw2AvLa21xzQ/viewform?usp=pp_url
