Summer fun in the library!

This summer will be hot! And indeed extremely! All the more reasons to visit the Library of Goethe-Institut Hongkong in July and August as we have prepared a number of cool activities for you to join. 

In our theme display you will see various books related to the topic "Summer". We invite you to take your time looking through them and cool down. Planning a cosy movie date at home? How about watching one of our German films? Here are some German summer films ideas for you.

You may meet your real love in the library this summer... in book form! In July we invite you to a "Blind Date with A Book". Pick up a wrapped book from the library and spend some loving time together. Let us know later how your "date" was and get a small souvenir from us! 

Are you interested in learning more about contemporary German literature that are not too challenging grammatcially or linguistically? Do you have a German level of B2 or above? When both answers are yes, then join our experienced teacher Eva Wiegandt on Saturdays for a Book Stroll with Goethe! Details to the event can be found here. 

For families we have also something special planned: learn about our online learn platform Digital Kinderuniversity in July and come to our library for a children film screening and VR games in August!
