Armin, a news cameraman of around 40 living in Berlin, is getting too old for his nightlife habits and the woman he likes. He’s not really happy, but can’t picture living a different life. During a visit to his dying grandmother, he awakes one morning and discovers that seemingly all of humanity has disappeared, leaving him to his limited devices and opening the door for self-discovery – but the gift of maximum freedom bears complications. The film was selected in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
