Nowadays, living green and sustainable is not a choice anymore, but rather a necessity. In view of climate changes and many other social issues, how can a library live up its full potential and act agilely? Invited by the Goethe-Institut Hongkong and the Hong Kong Library Association,  Mr. Tim Schumann, the head of the Heinrich Böll Library in Berlin and the co-founder of the “Green Libraries Network”, will host an online sharing on “Green and Sustainable Library” on 25th March 2022. During the sharing, Mr. Schumann will touch upon the topics including “Sustainability and Digital Society”, “Sustainable Librarianship”, “Relevant Networks & Best Practices from Germany, Europe and around the world”, “the Development of the City Library Pankow (Berlin) into a Green Library”, as well as “Libraries as Strong Protagonists in an Ecological Future”.
