Lecture
Lecture 1: The non-virtual public space

Speakers: Sampson Wong & Kenny Wong

Goethe-Institut Hongkong Library

Join us for the accompanying programme of the exhibition "Recreation Room D"!

The popularisation of mobile communication has shifted interpersonal communication to the virtual spaces. Spaces for face-to-face interaction, such as the once popular youth center are gradually decreasing. Can face-to-face communication be replaced by instant messaging, social media and virtual meetings?

The public lecture will introduce the inseparable relationship between technology and modes of communication, and how such relationship is expressed in Recreation Room D. If you wonders how technology and art are correlated, and want to discover new art forms, please register early!

Open Lecture Topic: The Non-virtual Public Space
Moderator: GayBird
Speakers: Sampson Wong & Kenny Wong
Conducted in Cantonese
