Goethe-Fest 2023

This year we are finally celebrating our GOETHE-FEST again! For our 60th anniversary, we have prepared an exciting program. All friends of the German language and culture are cordially invited to join us on Sunday, October 29th, from 2pm to 6pm.

In the Goethe Gallery, you can participate in Speak-Dating, visit our book flea market, win prizes in exciting Germany-themed guessing games, or simply relax in our "beer garden". Don't forget to take a virtual reality tour of German cities and landscapes in the Black Box! During a short break in the beer garden, you can refresh yourself with a fresh pretzel and a beer or a lemonade.

In our Goethe Library, we invite you to exciting lectures. Learn more about study opportunities in Germany. Even as a young adult, you can gain practical work experience in Germany - the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany presents the "Working Holiday" program. The German and Swiss International School (GSIS) is also participating and providing information about programs primarily targeting Hong Kong children.

In our classrooms on the 13th floor, visitors of all ages can explore the German language and culture through workshops and taster courses. Paint gingerbread cookies, make your own potato salad, craft lanterns, or conduct experiments in German: there's something for everyone!

Registration for the activities starts on October 17th.
