The Data I Called: Data Collections of State and Business

While it is taken for granted that Facebook, Netflix and others are part of everyday life, these corporations are diligently collecting data offline and online. Not only your last online purchase, but also every step through the internet and every click is recorded. Why is the data collected, and what is it used for? Based on a self-experiment, the net activist and civil rights activist Katharina Nocun describes the data collection frenzy of large corporations and government agencies. And she explains how you can defend yourself.
