Qualification of skilled workers

With many years of experience, the Goethe-Institut provides language and intercultural training to people worldwide and prepares them for life and work in Germany. Through well-rounded learning and information offers and projects, as well as global networking, we competently facilitate the entire migration process. Cooperations

German during training: Nursing

In cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the Goethe-Institut has developed the project "German during training: Nursing", which integrates the acquisition of the German language into Indonesian nursing training. Based on two pilot classes, which started in the 2023/2024 training year as an international class for German as a foreign language in Jakarta and Bandung, the project is to be expanded to other polytechnic education schools in the country in the future.

German for professionals: Nursing

  • As part of the Triple Win project, the Goethe-Institut Bandung, the Goethe-Institut Jakarta and the Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) are cooperating with their partners BP2MI and the Ministry of Manpower to provide language and intercultural training for nursing professionals from all over Indonesia.
  • The recruitment agency Medwing GmbH, which is certified with the 'Fair Recruitment' seal of approval, works with the Goethe-Institut Bandung to place healthcare staff from Indonesia in Germany.

Fair recruitment: EKONID - AHK Indonesia

We are working with our cooperation partner AHK Indonesien to establish fair placement structures in Indonesia. While the Goethe-Institut provides language and intercultural training for skilled workers and trainees, EKONID offers placement, recruitment and matching services as well as recognition advice as part of the Pro Recognition project.

Pre-integration

With the project "Living and working in Germany", the Goethe-Institut contributes to the pre-integration of skilled workers. With workshops, consultations and seminars, a four-person team in Indonesia supports those interested in migration before their departure, including intercultural training and information services.

Fair recruitment

There are many recruitment agencies on the market in Indonesia and Germany. Unfortunately, not all of them take sufficient account of the needs of the people in their countries of origin. That is why the principles of ethically responsible recruitment are very important to us. In the nursing sector in particular, we would like to draw attention to the RAL Quality Mark Fair Recruitment Nursing Germany, with which agencies and recruiting institutions voluntarily pledge to guarantee fair conditions.
