  • 1st meeting: 24th September 2026, 3.30 to 4.30 pm (ICT) / Focus: Pathways to Germany
  • 2nd meeting: 1st October 2026, 3.30 to 4.30 pm (ICT) / Focus: Vocational training in Germany
  • 3rd meeting: 8th October 2026, 3.30 to 4.30 pm (ICT) / Focus: Vocational training in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) lessons I
  • 4th meeting: 15th October 2026, 3.30 to 4.30 pm (ICT) / Focus: Vocational training in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) lessons II
German as a second foreign language faces stiff competition in the SAN region (South-East Asia, Australia and New Zealand). In recent years, many pupils have opted for Chinese, Korean or Japanese. The aim of this series of events is to integrate ‘Future and Career’ into the curriculum in order to increase the relevance of German as a second foreign language.

Here are some points you should note for your application:
  • You teach German at a PASCH or BKD-school.
  • You hold the Goethe-Zertifikat B1 or an equivalent certificate confirming your language proficiency.
  • You have a stable internet connection so that you can participate in the online sessions.
  • You will take part in the online training using a laptop with a camera.
  • You will use the Zoom app for the online training.
  • The sessions build on one another. Regular attendance is encouraged.
  • Applications must be submitted by 21 August 2026.
  • Places are limited. You will be notified of your participation as soon as possible after the deadline of the registration.
