How can young people critically engage with information, reflect on their own surroundings, and become producers of knowledge themselves? The exhibition “Living Knowledge Lab” presents photostories and video documentation created by young people in Jabodetabek as part of a multi-month project.

Through workshops on media and information literacy, digital safety, photography, and visual storytelling, participants first developed skills to engage with information and digital media critically and responsibly. They then explored sustainability issues in their own surroundings and transformed their observations and experiences into personal photostories.

The exhibition makes these perspectives and the knowledge created through the project accessible to a wider public. Video documentation also offers insights into the participants’ shared learning and production process.

The opening event of the exhibition will be held on 7 November 2026, starting at 10 AM. The opening will be followed by a talkshow featuring the workshop participants who will elaborate their exhibited work.
